He attended and graduated Taylor High School in May of 1977 and enrolled in the Missionary Baptist Seminary in the fall of that same year. He and the former Nancy Cloud of Magnolia, AR were married on August 11, 1978 and the Lord has blessed their home with five children. In June of 1978 the Lord lead Bro. Hamlin to serve churches in the central Arkansas region such as Lewisburg Missionary Baptist Church in Morrilton, Social Hill Missionary Baptist Church in Benton, Calvary Baptist Church in Hazen, and Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Malvern. During his service at Mt. Zion the Lord began to impress Bro. Hamlin with the need to work in the mission field. The Lord lead Bro. Hamlin and his family to Branson, MO. where he started the Bee Creek Baptist Mission. The Lord richly blessed Bro. Hamlin's work in that field of labor and after a few short years, the mission was fully established as a self supporting church and has continued to grow and minister to the needs of the folks in that area of Branson, MO. In September of 2003 Bro. Hamlin accepted the call to become Pastor of Sharon Missionary Baptist Church here in Benton, AR. |
 Muncy HarrisAdministrator |
Muncy R. Harris was born in Texarkana, Arkansas in November, 1945 into a wonderful Christian home. His parents were faithful to the Lord's House and they saw to it that their son (Muncy) never missed a class, worship service, or activity at the Unity Missionary Baptist Church. Through his parent's training and the good sound Bible teaching he received as a young person, it was easy for Muncy to accept the Lord as his personal Savior at the early age of nine and he has never regretted giving his heart to the Lord! It was the best decision of his life. It produced a relationship with God that is unequaled! It provided a home that is unbelievable! It produced a joy that is unspeakable! In the years that Brother Harris has sought to serve the Lord and minister to others, he has been associated with congregations in Arkansas, Oklahoma, and Louisiana. Muncy began his work with the good people of Sharon Baptist Church in 1980. He and his lovely wife Pat make their home in Benton. Muncy and Pat have three children: Denver, Jonie, and Matt; a daughter-in-law, Ashley; a son-in-law, George; and five grandchildren, Caleb, Brooklyn, Logan, Abby, and Jordan. A Personal Note... The greatest desire of my heart is that the Lord will use and bless the testimony of my lips and the witness of my life to attract others to Jesus Christ where they can find salvation from sins and solutions for all their problems. As a redeemed child of God, I know God desires to use me as a representative of His Kingdom. I, also, know that my effectiveness largely depends upon my daily confession of sin and my daily surrender to Him. Pray for me that I might do those things without hesitation.
